Visitors can also experience the historic town of Gettysburg and witness the beauty of the Pennsylvania countryside that surrounds them.

Gettysburg Battlefield Resort offers a bass stocked lake for fishing and paddle boating, updated facilities, scheduled activities for the entire family, as well as live Civil War Reenactment Weekends.

For an overall view of the Pennsylvania Dutch and Amish country, be sure to take the 45-minute train ride that originates at Strasburg.
